last one i wrote got some good responses, so heres another one...me being philosophical
What is life? What is it too you? Is it a series of random images, Or does the painting have other unseen colors that the eye cannot see.
Life is the completion of many events and occurrences that shape our way of thinking. It has always been so, what is different is the way at which we view these images and the way we create them. Like the strokes of a paintbrush, each different each a part of the whole, every stroke forms the picture that others view and in turn make a conclusion as too who and what we are.
The people who say that this is not true have simply not had the same experiences you or I have and therefore cannot understand what you or I view as true or false. Truth I don’t believe is relative, but what I may believe is true you may believe is faulty logic or false. Another interesting fact is that when someone learns something new, something unknown previously, that person undergoes a change in their perception of what is true or real. With this new knowledge they make other perceptions about what is true or not completely abandoning what they thought was true previously.
I tell you this mainly because my experiences have told me that this is true. For instance let me use the example of creation vs. evolution. Lets say you are an evolutionist, that you believe that cataclysmic events happened and that in turn made the earth we now walk on. Lets say I came too you as a creationist and told you I had proof that shot down your belief in evolution. Now as an evolutionist, or anyone else with a strong belief in something, you naturally would tend too not believe me or anything I said whether it be true or not. But what if I could provide concrete evidence that it happened and could back it up with eyewitness accounts of creation. You’d be more accepting of my opinion then wouldn’t you?
Life gives us events; occurrences and things that you thought were impossible before you had the actual facts too back them up. The sad fact is that we are all very visual people. What the mind sees and the ears hear the mind believes.
